After more than 20 years as a homeowner in Lancaster, Carol Morrison made a decision. “The last house I lived in I had pretty much told myself, I don’t want to pay any more water bills or taxes,” she recalls. “I just want to rent for however many years God has me here.” Like an answer to a prayer, she spotted Landis Place on King taking shape at 239 W. King St. one day while visiting her brother across the street at the Umbrella Works.

Designed as a celebration of urban living, Landis Place on King features 79 pet-friendly one- and two-bedroom apartments in a variety of sizes and floor plans to suit a variety of budgets. Apartments have balconies or patios offering beautiful cityscape views. The Morrisons chose the popular two-bedroom Walnut floor plan, and Carol says she loves its layout, the kitchen island and the gray color scheme. Most of all, she says, she likes that it’s all new.
