Ben Smith

Director of Landis Quality Living Communities Ben Smith was born and raised in Newport News, Virginia. He attended Virginia Tech, where he double majored in Property Management and Real Estate. After spending more than ten years working in property management in Washington, D.C., Ben relocated to Lititz, Pennsylvania—the hometown of his wife. He takes pride in his ability to solve problems, build relationships, and help others through his work.
 

 

 
 

Jim Riley

Landis Quality Living Maintenance Manager Jim Riley was born in Salisbury, Maryland, and began his maintenance career over 35 years ago working in hotel maintenance in Ocean City, Maryland. He later transitioned to serve as Director of Buildings and Grounds at a local school in Berlin, Maryland, a role he held for 28 years. In 2025, Jim relocated to Manheim, Pennsylvania, to be closer to his wife’s family. Jim takes great pride in helping others, completing repairs efficiently, and finding practical solutions to challenges.

 

 

 
 

Denise Rossi

Born and raised in New York, Landis Quality Living Assistant Denise Rossi earned her bachelor’s degree in Sociology from the State University of New York at Stony Brook. In 2000, she relocated to Lancaster with her husband and two sons. Denise brings more than 14 years of experience in the continuing care retirement community field, specializing in admissions for individuals requiring personal or skilled care. Her transition to independent living admissions has allowed her to apply her extensive background with both confidence and compassion. Denise takes great pride in guiding residents through every step of the process—from the first tour of the community to settling comfortably into their new homes. She truly enjoys getting to know each resident and building meaningful, lasting relationships.
